On the 12th and 13th of October, Astana hosted the largest international technological forum in Central Asia - Digital Bridge 2023. Traditionally, the event was visited by the President of Kazakhstan Kasym-Jomart Tokayev. It brought together for dialogue and exchange of experience the world companies’ leaders, the best international and domestic experts in the field of IT innovations, venture capitalists from all over the region. The event was attended by about 20,000 participants, more than 300 IT companies, over 100 investors, 250 speakers and 100 startups from 15 countries.
The two-day forum programme included: a plenary session with the participation of the Head of State, more than 30 panel sessions with international speakers, signing of agreements, events from Google for Startups, Startup Alley, the international Digital Bridge Awards and an exhibition area.
R:ED - Robotics Education was represented in two expositions "Industry 4.0." and "Robotics", together with world champions of programming and robotics competitions.
Arman (R:ED Robotics Education) and the Foundation for Engineering Education Development held a joint briefing on 13 October on the results of the “Future Engineer” project, which is a part of the Agreement signed at the Digital Bridge Forum 2022.
The goal of the project is to provide an accessible quality educational environment in the field of engineering competences and to create conditions for children from rural areas, small towns and single-industry towns of Kazakhstan.
